I'm a noob here. I'm in West by God Virginia. I've always been into outdoor survival, and also personal survival from disasters, etc. I hope I can share some knowledge here, and also learn from the members.

I noticed that you are pretty hard core. I've done the longhunter thing before. I'm not sure I could go that route for an extended period. I love firearms of all types, and muzzle loader is definitely the fun way to hunt,,if you use the real muzzle loader. I have a Tennessee mountain rifle. My hat's off to you sir.

Thank you Bill. Many people think, myself included, that in a serious shtf situation requiring long term survival, that 18th century living historians have the best chance of survival. This was stated in an American Black Powder magazine many years ago. Modern equipment will not last, 18th century equipment will last for ever. I lived an 18th century lifestyle for over 20 years Bill, it is not that hard.
    Regards, Keith.
