    Good morning Duke in Wales,

Just read the article. If the tipper / informant did not inform the authorities, there could have been another tragedy.

The common-denominator(s) is not being addressed.

What if the danger didn't come from a disgruntled employee but rather from some robbers ?

This entire equation is missing something.

    ......

These "events" remind me of a national advice column of years ago by a "Dear Abby". Some young woman wrote to Dear Abby that for the last 10 years she was routinely raped by her mentally-ill step-brother.

Dear Abby wrote back: "Who is mentally-ill?"

And what is the violent crime rate, property crime rate and theft crime rate - in the U.K. ALSO how many crimes ere prevented by your unarmed citizens? Knife attacks, acid attacks, home invasions, rapes, child molestation. What can you do when multiple home invaders kick in your front door?

Another idiot, indeed. If one deems it appropriate to go around killing people out of a workplace issue...then that person has some serious mental issues. Manslaughter is not normal, sane thinking. IMHO

This person in the news must be evaluated for severe anger issues and/or symptoms of psychosis.

That this person had weapons and ammunition DOES NOT necessarily speak to his having plans to injure innocent people.

Many of the members of this website have more equipment in their gun safes that the BBC (Bolshevik Broadcast Collective) article's photograph shows. Many of the members of this website have tempers from hell. However, this absolutely DOES NOT mean that they have any intentions whatsoever of doing harm to innocents now or in times future. We are too disciplined. Me, I am utterly terrified of Divine Punishment.

Crowds of looters and violent out-of-control "people" pose a grave and present danger to the very glue of civilization. They must be put down with whatever level of aggression it takes to crush them and destroy any ability of theirs to recuperate. Savagery must be stopped in its tracks. Savagery is cancer = zero compromise. Post-SHTF "situations" will become catastrophic. If you wish to see your children survive, your grandchildren survive, then you must utterly eliminate the source of danger to them. If you are killed, then it will be just a little bit difficult for you to be of aid to those who must carry on civilization. The lives of savage people are worthless.

That's it. That's that. Welcome to Earth. Welcome to the human species.

Is the reporting biased? What is your primary news sourch LW or do you not bother with keeping up with things?

Strange ALL the Americans who are friends of mine watch and listen to the BBC as their main news source. That said four out of six are Democrats and want a more truthful source of whats happening in the USA

the BBC is biased in its reporting, that fact has been noted in many quarters not just my personal opinion.
I use many outlets for my news sources not just the BBC.
I don't believe most of what the BBC says.

Democrat and Liberal --- socialist wimps. Duke, what conservative news do you read or watch to balance out the fact finding? BBC is liberal trash. Try the Express for some factual news.

As near as I can tell all of the three-letter news agencies are biased and base their reporting on political points of view. FOX is as conservatives CNN is liberal. NOBODY anymore knows or practices what real journalism is meant to be. It is supposed to be all about facts and the truth a presented without opinion to allow the viewer or reader to form their own opinion. Now days trying to find out the reality of what is going on from the three-letter news agencies is the same as trying to figure out the state of affairs by only listening to what politicians say in campaign speeches.

Great link. It is always so amazing and scary to the liberals that children can succeed and prosper once they are required to live up to their potential.

For U.S. news just tap into DONALD TRUMPS twitter feed once a day . Cut straight to the source . If you want to check with what he tweets and what news agencies say , it will not take the ignorant long to figure out the truth .

That school has done very well, the systems in place work, the head teacher has got it right and remember that the high percentage of Muslim pupils will help as education is highly regarded by many Muslim families. While UK education on the whole is better than the USA, both systems need a radical shake up.

Children are no longer challenged, they are all told they can't fail, are encouraged into higher education to study degrees that to all intent and purpose are useless and this attitude continues into the work place hence the rise of the snowflake/millennial generation. This video is doing the rounds but is sadly a reflection of what employers are up against

I went to a good school in England, its selective in that you needed to pass a written exam to get in and pay. The school focused on a solid education and sport and its results were very very good and continue to be so to this day. My two children and now grand children used/use a similar School and again exam results are sky high because the children are pushed to succeed, to grow as individuals, to be the best they can and are encouraged in sport, the outdoors and other activities. We pay the fees for the grandchildren's education, its not cheap but we know they will blossom and just as important is they LOVE going to school, they love learning...they are very very bright.

I don't know what the answer is to fixing the UK school system, for the most part its broken.

TMT, if you like the Express you will love the Daily Mail, give that a try.
