Everything I carry is for comfort, for ease of living in a long term wilderness living situation. I live in a forest, so unless I have to leave home for any reason, the equipment in my knapsack does not get used. But with this knapsack & it's contents plus skills, I can live for years away from home.

This is one of my older videos, & since making this one some items have changed. I now carry a tin cup & a lighter copper kettle.

This video is amazingly concise and helpful, Keith!! Thank you for making it! I really would love one of those simple knapsacks and I'm curious where I could buy one that isn't marked up for the brand. I'm actually going to look into making one....

It seems garage sales are the best place to get copperware. I ALWAYS see vintage copper pots, kettles, bowls, etc.
