    You’re on the right track. Look, listen, read and prepare. Who knows when the SHTF? 5 minutes or 5 years from now....do whatever you can on a daily basis to get ready for the tough times ahead.

    Type up some info on eg your environment; rural, urban, suburban, ... the anticipated natural perils ... Are you living in "Tornado Alley", "Hurricane Alley", "Inside the Beltway", etc ?
