[VIDEO] Limbaugh Floats Idea Of Why Republicans Are Retiring Possibly Giving Dems An Opportunity
You don’t see Democrats leaving office when they are in power so what gives?

Written by Wayne Dupree · 5 hours ago

On my radio show, I have told my listeners and viewers that something really smelled bad when we saw the retirements during the 2018 mid-term elections.

When you have a chance to make major changes to roll back the disappointing eight years of Barack Obama, you don’t quit and go home unless you were trying to sabotage the current Commander-in-chief.

Conservative radio host, Rush Limbaugh, gave his breakdown about the 2020 election and how he thought Democrats were holding unearthed damaging information over Republicans which is causing this new wave of retirements. You don’t see Democrats leaving office when they are in power so what gives?

Here are excerpts from Rush’s program:

“Now, people will say, ‘Well, Rush, I’ll tell you what it is. The truth be known: There’s a bunch of Republicans that just can’t stand Trump.’ That’s not what it is. That’s what they want you to think. That’s not what it is.

“You know what I think’s going on? I think — and don’t doubt me on that. I can’t prove this ’cause this is just a supposition. But I think, based on how I have seen Democrats and their operatives act, I think — and that given that nobody, no human being is clean and pure as the wind-driven snow,”

“We’ve all got something in our closets. We’ve all done something that we don’t want people to know about. I think the Democrats are finding dirt, and they’re going to these Republicans, and they’re saying, ‘Do you want people to know about this? We are glad to publicize this about you.’ ‘Oh, no, no. No, no! Please don’t.’ ‘Well, OK. Then you gotta retire.’

“Now, I can’t prove it, but some of this stuff — and some of it may be legitimate. I mean, people retiring after 10 years, they may think it’s enough. It’s five terms. But it’s a lot of power to be giving up.”

“You hear about another retirement here, retirement there. They never add up in your mind. They’re all indiscriminate, little isolated stories — and what’s odd? Nothing’s odd about somebody retiring from Congress. But it seems there’s an exorbitant number of Republicans doing so, and I just have my suspicions about it. That’s all.”

If Rush is correct, why don’t the Republicans do the same to Democrats with something to hide? Answer — the media won’t publicize the Democratic indiscretions.

I don’t think they’re retiring because of the Damnocraps threatening them with dirt. I think the real reason is that the same global elitists/NWO that got AOC and the rest of their ilk elected have paid these Republicans a handsome amount to retire. It’s the simplest reason – just follow the money.

Anyone who is familiar with the Qanon theory knows that those who are Qanon believers think that there are over 40,000 unsealed Federal indictments that have all of these people's names on them and they have been warned by the Trump administration that they will be headed for gitmo unless they step down. They also believe that there is military tribunals set up already and many many traitors will be brought in and hanged for their crimes against the state at some point. This theory has been ongoing for almost two years though and to date no arrests or tribunals have come to pass that anyone can prove. Is there anyone here who follows or has followed the Qanon theories?

Well, if the Republican's are retiring because the Democrats have dirt on them -- and the Democrats aren't retiring -- then simple logic tells me that
    (1)
the Republicans are retiring because they're crooks and the Democrats aren't requiring because they're not crooks; or
    (2)
The Republicans see a harder time getting re-elected than the Democrats do, for whatever reason you want to choose.

That makes the "chem-trails" believers and the "flat earth" believers look perfectly normal!

Well since I assume by some of your past posts that you are a democrat and like the ideas of socialism etc. that you would drop right into that line of thinking and hopefulness.

Personally I believe that an honest politician today is a rarity and that if in fact they cleaned house of the pedophiles, criminals, traitors and seditious there really would not be more than a handful left from either party if even that.

As for Qanon, I looked heavily into the possibility that it was something that could be but after a number of months and virtually nothing came to pass I decided that it was not a valid entity. Jeff Sessions pretty much proved my feelings correct by his lack of action as chief law enforcement officer of the country after the months of "trust Sessions" statements on the boards.

There have however been a huge number of politicians and corporate level business men who have stepped down for unknown reasons in the last three years. A lot seemed to coincide with Donald Trumps EO concerning confiscation of money from those who are corrupt in December of 2017 seen here:

Both of your assumptions are incorrect. (1) I am neither a democrat (believer in unhinged democracy AKA mob rule) nor a Democrat (member of the Democratic Party; and (2) I do not like the ideas of socialism, although, like most people I take advantage of government programs for which I am eligible, such as Social Security, Medicare, the G.I. Bill, public schools and universities, police and fire protection, etc. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "...that line of thinking and hopefulness".

I also would like to see pedophiles, criminals, traitors and seditious (persons) as well, but I don't think that having an opinion about these people is the same thing as finding them guilty in a court of law.

It's good we agree about Qanon. As for Sessions, officers of the court are supposed to recuse themselves from a case if they believe a conflict of interest exists.

People step down from their jobs all the time. Are you saying that there is any correlation with a bunch of these people and Trump's EO? By the way, all thirteen members listed in Annex to the EO are foreign nationals; none of them are American citizens. What do those thirteen foreign crooks have to do with a disproportionate number of Republican politicians retiring?

Good evening Last Outlaw and Duncan,

    I take a more pragmatic - if I may - view.

Large blocs of the electorate do not want the loss of the welfare state that the Trump team is dismantling. Elections are both popularity contests and campaign contributions.

The Trump administration is just not an award-winner for the BOWASH and California electorate.

Running as a Republican displays the candidate as closing down the public schools, the civil service, the military, the Defense contracting community, ... The Republicans know it just might not be worth it to run again for office.

Yet, it doesn't matter that much any more. Team Trump controls most of the power centers: the Supremes, the Central Bank.

The rest of the story is for fools and sages. I admit to not knowing.

Meanwhile, if "Medicare For All" gets going, I'll save a fortune - under certain forms of accounting.

    I love gallows humor !
