Millennials Start Camping Due Our Covid Situation

    most people who holidayed at home in the UK this year , called a "staycation" over here. stayed on camping or caravan sites, either in tents or caravans(trailers in the US ), a lot of sites were overbooked...so much for social distancing.
    very few people are into "wild" camping as they want to have all the facilities, Toilets/showers etc.
    they were after all on holiday NOT bugging out.

    Sound like the great setup for catching the plague. I wont be surprise if there is infection cluster coming out from any such place

    Very doable IF you have motorvehicle or working animal to haul everything. Utility tent + its amenity tend to be on the heavy side

    Good afternoon Lonewolf and Varuna,

    I like that newly coined word "staycation".

    My view is that if a young person just even starts to learn something pertinent such as a guy line, a couple of knots, what a tarp is, carry some extra clothes for chilly nights, ... it's a good start.

    As far as social distancing - the plague and related dangers - "a healthy environment" is not a crowded campground with a bath house, store, place to refill LPG cannister......

    exactly, this probably allowed the virus to spread and then they took it home with them which allowed it to spread even further.
