Most will not do anything in re a disaster. Thus, the need for responders.

Remember, those not doing anything .... and rest assured, they are not healthy specimens of humanity, will be germ vectors interfering with the prepared who are evacuating the peril.

 

Interesting. In true capitalist fashion necessity is the mother of invention.

I am curious what they use for power when they go into a disaster area. My perception is that most disaster areas would not have any power, especially if you had to go to a more remote area such as the California wildfires. Do they bring their own generators, fuel etc.?

They must have a plan. They have been doing it successfully for a long time.

There are generator trailers but don't know specifics for what I posted above.

However, ......

In this area, with generous FEMA funding, there are pre-established emergency shelters waiting activation in case of an emergency. The have / must have "UPS" - Uninterrupted Power Supply. I must be very sketchy here because I was in public volunteer service. They all don't routinely work. Bring extra batteries.

 

I get that a lot because one of the VPN's I use is outside of the North American continent and the trackers think I am outside the continent.
