Monitoring Climate Change On Your Own

If you truly are one of the individuals who wants to be prepared for most any survival situation that may occur a great piece of advice is to monitor climate change yourself. Don't take the word of your local newscaster or newspaper when it comes to the environment and what is going on around you. The media is often paid to tell you what people want you to hear or told what they can and cannot report on. Dangerous environmental issues happen all the time that do not make news coverage or media coverage at all. This is because the powers to be will do everything they can to keep these facts from you. The less you know, the easier you are to control. And control is why the 1% have all the money on this planet. Money is not the source of everything. For those of us who did not have an abundance of this, we know this all too well. Street smarts is a survival skill that many who have money do not have. Street smarts is not necessarily knowing exactly how to survive on a city street or in an alleyway it applies to life itself. Being able to be adaptable to any situation, fit in when and where necessary, and knowing the time and place for your actions are all street smarts that will pay off in any survival situation.

By doing things such as keeping rain gauges yourself and writing down a journal with temperatures and weather conditions on a daily basis after time, you will have your own records to go on. Then take your records and compare them to the news channels and media reports and see what the differences are. On average, many people notice a huge difference in temperature as well as a number of precipitation levels that are recorded by media compared to those recorded by individuals. Sure an individual may not know what they're doing, but then again the media may not know what they're doing either. The best way to eliminate the guesswork is to do this yourself. You can also network with people around the globe who are like-minded individuals such as yourself to help monitor conditions in places you are not. Together you can create an elaborate and accurate forecast of what is going on in the world around you and monitor the climate yourselves.

 

You can not do it yourself as you need decades and decades of reliable data from that exact location to get any long term trend!
I live 5km from a .gov weather station, sometimes they get a good fall of rain and I just sit watching it on the horizon with not a drop where I am!
Raw .gov data is easy and reliable to get, it is the religious interpretation and adjusting of that data that stinks!
