I'd add:

Staunton, Virginia. The birthplace of native son President Woodrow Wilson. He didn't like an integrated Federal civil service.

Charlottesville, Virginia. Famous home of 3rd US President Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson had no girlfriends of a different faith than his.

C.O. of Ft Lee, Virginia. Home of the Quartermaster Museum. No slaves inventories on display.

Up North:

New York City's NY Stock Exchange has origins dealing with a commodity not discussed in polite company: they had a slaves market.

Cambridge, Mass. There's an institute of lower education that discriminates against those of Asian ancestry.

For all places:

I'd definitely recommend one of these committees at any city ot town that does not have a poet laurete.

The committe can open the meeting with a most appropriate poem by Rudyard Kipling;
