    Hi Ned, I think lonewolf has his head screwed on the right way, seems to be a very sensible bloke.
    Not that hard living off grid out bush, I was raised by practicle parents post WW2 in West Sussex in England. Our family home was a large 18th century farm house with a large garden. We grew all our own fruit & vegies.
    Over here in Australia I was only living a short time in Darwin city when cyclone Tracey hit in Xmas 1974, since then we have been living off grid. For over 20 years we had no electricity, so now we have solar power it is a luxury.
    If I can ever be of any assistance in regards to 18th century Living History or anything else Ned, let me know.
