PRC Declares “Independence Means War” As US Sends Carrier Strike Group Into South China Sea In Display Of Unity With Taiwan

In response to America’s deployment of a carrier strike group led by the USS Theodore Roosevelt into the South China Sea, over a dozen Chinese aircraft including six nuclear weapons-capable strategic bombers were launched into Taiwanese airspace last weekend in the latest show of aggression from Beijing.

Asserting “independence means war,” Chinese Defense Ministry Spokesman Wu Qian stated the recent expansion of military activities and incursions into Taiwanese airspace “are necessary actions to address the current security situation” in the region, referring to the the People’s Republic of China (PRC)’s claim over the island of Taiwan, also known as the Republic of China (ROC).

Referencing earlier claims made by PLA leadership, Qian warned Taiwan and the globe that “Those who play with fire will burn themselves, and ‘Taiwan independence’ means war.”

The PLA spokesman additionally stated the PLA navy will conducting drills in the Gulf of Tonkin, in a clear challenge to the USS Theodore and its strike group patrolling nearby.

The statements come after Beijing’s passing of a new bill authorizing the Chinese Coast Guard to use “all necessary means”, including weapons against foreign vessels and to demolish structures erected in disputed waters, reports the Economic Times.

While carrying on the former Trump administration’s designation of the PRC as a “strategic competitor,” the Biden administration has announced their strategy towards China as one of “strategic patience,” a strategy touted by the Obama administration.

Former President Obama labeled the PRC as nothing more than a “strategic partner.” It is unclear whether President Biden will continue the policies carried out during his vice presidency or whether the new administration will favor the Trump era’s confrontation to China’s aggression.

“Emily Horne, spokeswoman for the White House National Security Council, said the US commitment to Taiwan was “rock-solid” after the island’s de facto ambassador in Washington, Hsiao Bi-khim, attended Mr Biden’s swearing-in on Wednesday,” writes Zero Hedge.

In addition to the PLA’s incursions into Taiwanese territory, China has been stationing tens of thousands of troops on along the Indian-China border, along what is known as the “line of actual control.” Tensions between the nations have developed over the last several decades as China continues to encroach upon Indian territory, employing piecemeal tactics to capture small chunks of Indian territory all along the line of demarcation.

The situation has resulted in a stand-off between PLA and Indian troops despite nine recent meetings between local military commanders in addition to dialogues between high level foreign and defense ministers, writes ABC News.

China ramps up its war against the West. Here in Amerika, the Chicom brass have their man in the White House.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...-us-defense-limiting-export-rare-earth-metals

"China has been quietly exploring the economic damage it could inflict to US and European companies - including defense contractors - if they were to impose export 'restrictions' on 17 rare-earth materials, according to a report in the Financial Times.

"Notably, the US government relies on these rare earths for the manufacture of F-35 jets and other sophisticated weaponry, which use them for critical components such as electrical power systems and magnets.

"'The government wants to know if the US may have trouble making F-35 fighter jets if China imposes an export ban,' said one Chinese government adviser who spoke on condition of anonymity."

"Authorities in China are detaining Christians in secretive, mobile 'transformation' facilities to make them renounce their faith, RFA has learned.

"A member of a Christian "house church" in the southwestern province of Sichuan who asked to be identified by a pseudonym Li Yuese said he was held in a facility run by the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s United Front Work Department, working in tandem with the state security police, for 10 months after a raid on his church in 2018.

"'It was a mobile facility, that could just set up in some basement somewhere,' Li said. 'It was staffed by people from several different government departments.'

"'It had its own (CCP) political and legal affairs committee working group, and they mainly target Christians who are members of house churches,' he said.

"The Chinese Communist Party, which embraces atheism, exercises tight controls over any form of religious practice among its citizens.

"State security police and religious affairs bureau officials frequently raid unofficial 'house churches' that aren't members of the CCP-backed Three-Self Patriotic Association, although member churches have also been targeted at times.

"The CCP under Xi Jinping regards Christianity as a dangerous foreign import, with party documents warning against the "infiltration of Western hostile forces" in the form of religion."

    https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2021/04/07/china-warns-washington-not-to-boycott-winter-olympics/

"BEIJING (AP) — China’s government warned Washington on Wednesday not to boycott next year’s Winter Olympics in Beijing after the Biden administration said it was talking with allies about a joint approach to complaints of human rights abuses.

"A Foreign Ministry spokesperson rejected accusations of abuses against ethnic minorities in the Xinjiang region. He warned of an unspecified 'robust Chinese response' to a potential Olympics boycott.

“'The politicization of sports will damage the spirit of the Olympic Charter and the interests of athletes from all countries,' said the spokesperson, Zhao Lijian. 'The international community including the U.S. Olympic Committee will not accept it.'”

O.Gzr.: I wonder why China is saber-rattling, they have their Manchurian candidate ensconced in the White House ... behind barbed wire and vetted troops. Brain-dead biden (or Kommie Kamala, if biden gets too feeble to prop-up in front of the cameras) will most assuredly send our athletes to rapist China. The Democratic Socialists keep putting shoe-shine boys in office for the betterment of international collectivism.

A theory though unsubstantiated , With Russia posing an army on the border with Ukraine , with the United States funneling in weaponry to Ukraine and bringing in war ships to back Ukraine , with China now having a puppet in the United States White House " bought and paid for " Whom benefits from a Russia VS United States conflict ? Why of course China . China is playing the world stage in strategic maneuvers . When all the playing is done they can count their winnings .

A few hours after my above post , someone managed to get a message out from Ukraine which I received " secondhand " . This is just one person so I don't know what the majority of Ukraine citizens think , but the message basically expressed the disdain and hatred this person has for " Biden and friends " stoking a conflict between Russia and Ukraine .

China is happy to humiliate U.S. again at next meeting. Amerika has no Commander in Chief and China is delighted to play with its new toy in front of the international community. During the Alaska meeting, they used Secretary of State Blinkin like a prostitute they'd paid for in advance. China is looking forward to their next date meeting.

When push comes to shove, Blinkin blinks.

    https://www.breitbart.com/national-...debacle-chinese-foreign-minister-peace-event/

"China celebrated the Alaska meeting as a resounding defeat for Blinken, who offered some perfunctory criticism of Chinese human rights abuses and was stunned by a ferocious backlash from Wang and top diplomat Yang Jiechi. Wang and Yang used the rhetoric of Blinken’s own Democrat Party to argue that America lacks the moral standing to criticize China on human rights and asserted that, in the wake of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. no longer has the economic or diplomatic strength to penalize Beijing for its abuses.

"China assumed the rotating presidency of the Security Council on Monday and promptly called on the U.S. to ease sanctions on North Korea, with envoy Zhang Jun saying Beijing hopes the Biden White House will 'give more importance to diplomatic efforts, to dialogue, instead of emphasizing too much the importance of extreme pressure.'

"Chinese analysts told the SCMP that Wang will use the meeting to lecture the United States on returning to the 'U.N. framework' and 'rules-based international order' as Beijing sees it, pushing back against the U.S. for its 'pseudo form of multilateralism' and its habit of forming 'cliques' to contain the ambitions of China and Russia."

“'It’s becoming more and more evident that in tackling the current global crises, multilateralism represents the right way out,' Zhang said. 'Multilateralism is not an option but a necessity as we build back better for a more equal, more resilient, and more sustainable world. The United Nations must be at the center of our efforts.'”

Short story: The socialist regime in Washington D.C. is selling-out America to the United Nations, i.e. the International Borg. China is becoming the anti-Christ's army in the East. Russia is the anti-Christ's army in the West.

Chinese are positioning hypersonic missiles to execute a war against Taiwan. China threatens U.S. with war should the USA oppose China's planned war against Taiwan.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...s-hypersonic-missile-deployment-across-taiwan

"China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has reportedly deployed hypersonic missiles across from Taiwan, Hong Kong media reported on Sunday, sparking concern about war preparations.

"The South China Morning Post, citing anonymous military observers and sources, said missile bases along Southeast China were "upgraded" with Dongfeng-17 (DF-17) hypersonic missiles.

"'The DF-17 hypersonic missile will gradually replace the old DF-11s and DF-15s that were deployed in the southeast region for decades," the source said. "The new missile has a longer range and can hit targets more accurately.'

"Hypersonic missiles give China significant leverage over Taiwan's anti-ballistic missile shield due to the glide vehicle's unpredictable ballistic trajectory - suggesting Taipei is powerless against a DF-17 attack.

"In September, Hu Xijn, the editor of Global Times, warned that if US troops were to station in Taiwan, 'the PLA will definitely start a just war to safeguard China's territorial integrity.'

"Recent war simulations over Taiwan between the US and China have shown repeated losses for the Americans. ..."

America also has these type of missiles and can hit Chinese forces with them when China invades Taiwan.

China lets Australia know that if they are not part of the West's capitulation to the Chinese goal of military dominance of all East Asia it will be stepped-on like a bug.

"China Warns Australia's Military Is "Weak", Will Be "First Hit" In Any War With Western Alliance"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...ak-will-be-first-hit-any-war-western-alliance

"Following now completed joint war games held by the US, Japan, France and Australia in the East China Sea off the southwest coast of Japan earlier this month, China has lashed out particularly at its large regional neighbor Australia, calling its military 'weak' and 'insignificant' at a moment the two are locked in a severe trade and diplomatic tit-for-tat dispute.

"Beijing voiced specific threats and warnings via its state-run English language mouthpiece Global Times, which recently wrote, 'Australia's military is too weak to be a worthy opponent of China, and if it dares to interfere in a military conflict for example in the Taiwan Straits, its forces will be among the first to be hit.'

"'Australia must not think it can hide from China if it provokes,' the report continued with its threats. 'Australia is within range of China's conventional warhead-equipped DF-26 intermediate-range ballistic missile.'

"All of this comes as the United States also this week announced it will send its only Asia-Pacific carrier presence to Mideast waters in order to assist with the Afghanistan withdrawal this summer - a move which Republican Congressional hawks lamented as leaving the US exposed in a 'priority theater'.

"Rabobank noted on the USS Ronald Reagan's impending departure from waters off Japan that 'For the first time in a long time, the US has no aircraft carrier in the Pacific. The symbolism is clear: and it leaves some wondering what might happen if push comes to shove.'"
