Started working on my new water catchment system for the garden today. Got the basic structure built and placed (even leveled, LOL!) It will hold 200 gallons of water. Need to plumb it now and tie into garden irrigation system. Snow coming Thursday. LOL! Need spring.

Now to clean out the area. Spring cleaning.

Cool setup Dalewick! You should get good use out of it. It’s still about 2 months away for me to have mine set up.

Haven't got that up yet. Down spout around the other side reduced to 2 inch PVC pipe and run around to the back (Where barrels are) and will dump through hole in top of far barrel after passing through screen that will exclude debris and mosquitos. This way I can install a diverter so I can just drain water away during the winter, instead of it freezing in the barrels.

WV weather is great. 70 degrees today. Should be in the 50's tomorrow and snowing by Thursday.

I can't go at it to hard anyway. Got both shoulders partially dislocated. Got therapy Thursday. Good day for it. Getting old sucks.

My little group is considering some sort of catch system if a property purchase goes through . Right now the snow is still too deep to get to the target property .

WV is great at busting barrels in the winter if they were half full or more. Learned to just empty them and start again in the spring. I have underground storage for our household water.
