    I doubt they "grow wild" anywhere.

    The same technique could be used with any larger melon and many types of squash too.

    Actually they do i have found them out in the woods and on beachs

    They don't grow wild here.
    I suspect any you found on a beach were "volunteers" from someone's picnic.
