I remember the darndest thing. My granddad would eat small onions boiled in milk. I remember trying them and they tasted good. I have not seen or heard of this since. Any info on this dish? history etc.
The first time I tried something like this, I tried to be cool and made a béarnaise sauce which took me about 45 minutes and it sucked. Stick with the milk sauce like the one in Len's post; it's way easier and tastes a hell of a lot better.
