It's realistic enough that human trash / roving marauders -nefariously - steal any and all documents in vacant dwelling. In my geographic area, roving marauders are a peril requiring plans to address the human trash.

Don't forget to carry ownership / title documents for serial number items. Whether the carried docs are originals or duplicate originals ...... a Prepper club will have some knowledgeable folks who will assist. If there are no knowledgeable folks, it's not Prepper club and really just a social club.
