Potato Shortage?

I’ve been having a harder time than normal finding seed potatoes for my agricultural needs. I will end up growing mostly Yukon Gold this year, except for the modest amount of red and purple potatoes from our crop from last year. I was talking to a seller who said there was a national shortage of potatoes due to a horrible fall last year. The Alaskan Yukon Gold produced well, so these are available. Fortunately for me, the Yukon’s are my favorite.

Has anyone else had challenges getting seed potatoes this year?
