Believe initial act was an Executive Order (XO) for the park.

Link lists some of those selected for park.

My entries:

- Mathew Henson, first modern person to walk to North Pole. Believe Admiral Byrd was sunbathing at that island he found but no others could locate it.

- John Browning.

- Surgeon General Terry. His warning label on cigarette packs induced us to transition to cigars.

- Goldie Hawn. Established that there really is such a thing as the dumb blond.

- Alex Baldwin. love of daughter in his trying times. Never charged with child cruelty.

- Louisiana Governor Ed Edwards. Taught Americans that a good diet and taking care of one's health can allow for fathering children well into later life.
