All of you visiting this site, pay attention to what is happening in Turkey. Venezuela has crashed now Turkey is spiraling-down. Know that what is happening in Turkey WILL happen in Western countries as currencies begin to collapse. If you have not stocked up on food supplies, you had better. An inflation tsunami is ready to hit landfall.

"As Lira Implodes, Turkey Proposes Huge Fines For 'Hoarding'"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/lira-implodes-turkey-proposes-huge-fines-hoarding

"On one hand Turkey's currency is crashing because the country's ruthless despot refuses to allow higher interest rates (in hopes the ensuing hyperinflationary collapse will cover his pillaging of Turkey's wealth as he will simply blame "foreign financial terrorists" for what has been the biggest heist of Turkey's wealth in modern history). And sure enough, the TRY fell another 2.75% today to a fresh all time low ahead of tomorrow's insane rate cut by the Turkish central bank which will send the lira plunging even more in the coming days and spark even more hyperinflation.

"On the other, the local population - barred from exchanging their worthless lira into cryptos and effectively blocked from converting the local fiat into dollars and foreign currencies - is desperate to at least convert their rapidly depreciating pieces of paper into something tangible, like food. Which, of course, leads to even higher prices and so on, in your typical hyperinflationary spiral.

"So what is a scrambling Turkish government to do to prevent all out collapse? Apparently it hopes to legislate away hoarding.

"According to T24, lawmakers from Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) presented to Parliament a proposal for a new bill calling for increased fines against hoarding of food and other goods, a perfectly natural reaction to idiotic government policies that have resulted in the lira losing 50% of its purchasing power in just the past year!"

My "emergency" rations are rather simple. I buy lots of beans, rice and canned hams. I can easily supplement that with wild greens, nuts, fruits, fish, and animals until I can get my garden and livestock in and to first produce.

Canned Spam comes in bacon flavor. Humans require fat intake so as to be able to absorb vitamins A and D which are fat-soluble. Kippered herring and mackerel in tins have a very long shelf life also. I love them with mustard, which itself has a long shelf life and is good for you (vinegar and turmeric, Vit.A).

I'm pretty fond of sardines. Nowadays they come in so many sauces that you can have a lot of variaty. Packed in oil though they offer a lot of calories in a small package. The problem is that my wife hates them and if I eat them she avoids me like the plague.

The problem with most can foods is that they are mostly water and weigh a lot. I much prefer things that are dry storage and canned meats. When times are hard you use meats as a sort of spice in things like soup, stew, gumbo, beans and rice, and goulashes. Add in fish, game meats, and, various gathered vegitables and that allows you to streatch your food stores for a lot longer.

I was raised sort of poor and honestly like simple meals. We ate a lot of beans and rice, gumbo, soup, stew and such. I still eat a lot like that only it is by choice. I do eat a LOT of meat now though.

we eat a lot of canned fish, mostly Mackerel and Sardines, living in an inland rural area its not easy to get fresh fish and some fish is almost as expensive as Beef, so we stock a lot of canned fish.

Tic-Toc influencer. Works from home. I would imagine ad revenue is paying her way.

Some Tic-Toc and YouTube influencers make over 60K per month. It can be expensive setting up but if you get enough followers (sheeple) it can be very profitable.
