Good morning all,

Author of article presents picture that China threat is inflatred to justify increases to DOD spending.

One aspect, forgot if article or comment, is that South Korea and Japan are "written off" by real strategic planners. Both these industrial nations have too low of birth rates for their survival. This loss of viability is going on ... real fast.

Personally, I view the DOD and the services like America's high schools: over half of each of these national institutions are not involved in the actual work of defence and education.

Much of America is disguised unemployment.
