Same here ... but believe nowadays in CDC / Prepper community / Emergency Responder groups, we are using the more current definition.

The above Centers For Disease Control's link has an example of the use of "Zombie".

In other groups, we call the "spaced out", unprepared, drunks, socialists (call 911 in case of ...) "Zombies", the walking dead interfering with our preparedness or response or our recovery efforts.

 

What could be more ominous than a clown?!

Just re-watched "Joker" starring Joaquin Phoenix. The movie is jarringly beautiful; it is the cello of the soul. It is a dance of sublimity. It is the world as it is; perfect in the eye of a fallen god.

"The Walking Dead" great for a laugh but nothing to learn from. If I have "zombies" show up in my area, they won't be walking dead, they will just be dead.

Joker is a great film, superb acting.

I love zombie films/tv shows. Walking Dead should have finished a few seasons back, its just stale now IMO. Fear the Walking Dead is still holding its own again IMO.
