    Excellent video worth watching again to embed it into memory (especially the knotting part).

    I got a kick out of what he called the "American" way of crossing. I would have spun on that rope like a squirrel on a greased pole, and landed in the water for sure.

    I believe it because in US people do things very differently compare to the rest of the world, which is why we (the rest of the world) sometime use the phrase "American way" to denote different technique / methods that is typically done by American

    That canoe is great, would like to see (or read) more details on how you built it from start to finish. Tips and tricks, what to do and what not to do during construction, those sorts of things. And what is your recommendation on the best tarp to use, or details on the ones you found to work best?

    I was taught that method back in JROTC and it was used by Special Forces in Nam. My teacher was a green beret.
