Hi, we are also using (PANA) or slingdart to hunt fish here in PH/asia, we have here a tilapia and catfish that we can hunt..

 

Yes sir you have to try it, just be careful when using slingdart because there are some cases of injuries.. but you can watch some vids at youtube or youku for reference info..

 

I turned one of my slingshots into a sling bow a long time ago. A couple of years ago I modified it so I could shoot bow fishing arrows with a line on them. It is small but does the job.

I am going to flat band slingshots. I ordered a gold thera-band that is 4" wide and 5' long. Tapered flat bands are sort of like the difference between a recurve bow and a compound bow. The draw on flat bands starts easy then builds up rather than being hard from the start. They accelerate the load and in the end have a little better velocity than the tube latex bands.
