been dabbling with a old snider enfield in .577 snider. It's one of those oddballs that ammo needs to be made. I'm making it out of 24 gauge all brass cases. Buffalo arms has a few cases with the correct head stamp. It's been fun, 70 grains black powder and a lead bullet. Have a couple molds, a round ball and a conical called a bumble bee. Would like to go with smokeless but am a little nervous in a rifle this old, even a light load. here is a little writeup on the snider https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snider–Enfield
