    Thank you for sharing!

Good to see that the tree pit was mentioned.

Living up in Glacier, MT earlier in my life, I remember most people stuck out in the drifts were tourist that literally just walked away from safety.... many were under-clothed for the weather to begin with and just wanted to "take a good picture" , "look for a moose", or "heard a pretty bird". First if all, looking for a moose is looking for a mauling, second of all,
    safety first!
Locals cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling were actually less likely to fall into that kind of situation. It did happen, of course!
On a humorous side note: when I reviewed this reply for typos, I found this:
....just wanted to "take a good picture" , "look for a moose", or "heard a pretty beard".

    Good afternoon Justin,

Those tourists remind me of recreational SCUBA divers getting shark bites. They show up at the hospital and expect some insurance or Medicare to cover much of the costs.

I believe this will soon stop.

In a SHTF situation, whether pandemic or otherwise, tourists will be referring to strangers that wander within 5 miles of your cache, larder, or base... at least that is my opinion.

    Good afternoon Justin,

My hunch is that tourists will only be the rich.

With a 1 trillion debt - actually more - the current reduced standard of living will be speeded - up.

Soon enough, all Americans will learn that the party's over.
