Good evening all,

A decent enough article telling of the new organization and functions of the new, even more improved US war machine.

The contractors don't like it.

 

IMO nation that / will operate significant number of unmanned system should revamp their TO&E. What I mean is, in typical TO&E we accustomed with all unit element being in the same theater (example a battalion will have all their combat element in the same theater). However in remotely operate dominant unit, a battalion level unit might have their units spread out half way across the globe.

You're right; it's already started and refinements currently going on.

Traditional TO&Es have changed so much that the term doesn't even reflect the new arrangements.

The new organizations also incorporate contractors, both domestic and foreign citizenry - well beyond the traditional joint and unified commands.

Now, add the drones to the mix. Some are run from a remote headquarters and some are in theater.

 

The article is just another screed against "evil" America. Maybe we should leave the world alone.

Why, pray tell, are we propping-up people who hate us?! Let's just leave them to themselves. If they live, they live and if they die, they die.

They hate us, so let them be "protected" by the Liberty-loving communists. Maybe they want to have AK-47s rammed up their distal sphincters -- good for them.

America must go nuclear energy eventually anyway, so let's get going RIGHT NOW! We need to get our rare-Earth elements from ores simply lying on the sea-floors of the oceans of the world. Let us become self-sufficient and let the rest of the world burn or starve or whatever it is they are going to inevitably accomplish on their own. As an American, I am deeply tired of taking care of an unappreciative world. Uncle Sam should say, "Good luck everybody, we have some things to do right now. Since you are so brilliant, you'll be just fine. Bye!"
