Above is some pseudo disaster prep info from someone who is articulate but no Prepper background.

A "few months back" Barry A.F. did not - and surely still does not - understand the implications of the Hong Kong riots to the world. It could have been an imminent danger to the world.

US Africa Command is leaving Africa after completion of a new drone base. Barry: You're living a sheltered life.

Floods (less flash floods experienced by non-Preppers) and hurricanes are not acute emergency situations. They are labeled as "notice events".

Hope you don't work with kids, Barry. Keep the off the cell phone. Morph the entertainment games into educational material. Discussing social issues during stress events is not always ideal.

Some schools do teach life skills, critical thinking and social issues. They are not US public schools.Wikipedia articles and (Western) philosophy are a reason we have a national epidemic concurrent with social issues.

The pragmatists are at the top of the pile.
