OR, another way of looking at the issue is the opposition party has drug their feet and aided in corruption and the people were getting screwed. So any promise by the current government to improve conditions will garner more support. The other side of the coin not covered by the writer of this article.

I don't know about "storm free" but we don't get hurricanes or anything like that, by the time a hurricane has travelled across the Atlantic it is downgraded to a Storm category.
