Sweet Potatoes

    I saw this on YouTube so I decided to try it. I'll record progress here for you all to see how it turns out. Essentially, I'll try to start my own slips from $1 worth of sweet potatoes that I purchased from the grocery store. They may not even root or they may not even grow. Or they may surprise me! This is day 1.

    Good luck. In case anyone did not know, the greens from sweet potatoes are great tasting and really healthy for you.

    Vegies like this are often doctored to stop people growing their own from cuttings. You can only try as you are doing until you find a supply that is not doctored.

    Same here... The link attempts to take us to this forum's Media section, but somehow gets scrambled along the way.

    Desert Girl, is it possible to post your media directly into this thread, via one of the icons located at the top of a blank posting page, either the picture icon of the media one?

    I think it's fixed. The album I set up for the photos was set to private, sorry, I'm still learning all the buttons here :)

    one thing you can also do is yall seen those green shoots get long real fast.clip them and drop in water.they set roots in a week.
