    Note the article's 3 comments.

    I believe that if the original baseline 12 cents per kilowatt hour had to go up to $9 dollars per kilowatt hour and the electric-generating equipment still not winterized to produce juice for the electric customers, the Texas PUC really didn't have any of the mentioned "hope" ... or of an expectation of juice flowing to the customers..

    Is not the national trend for energy prices to continue being based on to each according to their needs, to each according to ther abilities, to each according to their lifestyles ?

    It's a mess in Texas but, less mechanisms, not really that different than Florida, California, New York - and Virginia.

    I do recall it was the native son Texan, President LBJ, who mothballed the prototype commercial nuclear-propelled ship N.S. Savannah faster than saying ..... must stop.
