    we all have saw the dollar store challenge on utube. well take advantage of your dollar store !!! good stuff cheap!!!! aveey nice first aid kit can be made. lighting can be well coverwd with candles and flashlights small tools that pack well matches lighters tarps 4x8 drop cloths9x12 the list of good useable stuff is amazeing check out your dollar store !!!!!!

    But none of it is any good!
    I have been down that road before and it did not go well.
    I would not be trusting my wellbeing on crappy dollar store stuff!

    we have POUND stores in the UK, we can get some good stuff there, the stock changes all the time so its worth checking them out on a regular basis.

    our local dollar tree just got 4x6 ft tarps in stock. wish they wasnt blue lol but i got six of them anyhow allso got a candle holder i saw on utube used as a cook stove with tea candle in 3 mins he had hot meal

    Oh no don't get the blue ones!
    Not UV stabilised so will degrade and basicly turn to powder in sunlight! after a short time!
    Over here in AUS summer sunlight will kill these in less than a month!
    The green ones are somewhat better but not much better!
    The Silver/green Tarps are the go but you will pay more!
    Silver/greens last for 4-6 years continuous use in Aus.

    Dollar tree has several items that are great for short-term survival. Some of the items include lighters, twine, nylon cords, tape, candles, medical supplies, food, gallon of water, sports drinks, bungee cords, small tool kits, soap, antibacterial items, playing cards, and much more.

    i get the 5 pack bic lighters at dollar general..and i get my sun/reading glasses at dollar tree.i've got a pair of sunglasses from dollar tree at least,3 years ago..and they're still good..

    At dollar tree ive found 4x6 tarps tools tool boxes lights batteries candles cooking supplies first aid supplies matches lighters rope twine storeage containers the place is full of supplies at a easy on pocket prices a buck a piece

    Shopped there yesterday myself. Got another can opener, window alarms, emergency dental kit and something I cannot remember. It's a good place to stock up on medical stuff for minor sickness/injury....you won't find any Celox gauze. I wish I could find Celox for $1/roll.

    I understand that feeling.
    Such stores buy out other stores liquidating for one reason or another.
    Often goods are out of date or nearly so or are goods that didn't sell worth a hoot.
    Probably for good reason.
