   daylight savings time, or GMT(Greenwich mean time) as we call it here, is a very old fashioned thing, it was okay when we as kids walked to school but these days most kids get taken in cars during "the school run", Europe has talked about doing away with it altogether, and these days its just a nuisance twice a year.
