Riding the rails has gone through it's stages of popularity, but holds a very special place in my heart. The challenges that come with hopping trains are countless. Riding in the pocket of a train can be incredibly dangers and very addicting. The appeal of train hopping is usually the idea of adventure and free travel- which I can't argue with. I wouldn't give up the miles under my belt for the world. Has anyone here had experience in hopping freight trains? How did you prepare? Do you miss it as much as I do?
