I've had a late night tonight, ham radio conditions very good (lots of east coast US hams getting through), turned off the rig about an hour ago and looked at the news; wish I hadn't... UK news is just showing the muslim take over of London and Twitter/X is all videos of people of colour misbehaving often against people with a lighter skin tone.

Biden has hijacked one of the most important days in the Christian calendar to promote the trans movement so who's pulling this guys strings? I don't like Trump but Biden is far more dangerous for the Future of the USA IMHO

When Western economies fail, there will come unimaginable violence. Any form of self-discipline among the citizenry has gone out the window. It's all a powder keg and the fuse is lit.

I watched a short news clip earlier where the phrase "reminiscent of the nazis" was used about that incident. Franky, it is about time people started saying it - this anti-semitism thing has gone too far. Two key issues I see with it, the Jews in London are, most likely, not Israelis, our resident Jewish population having been here for a couple of centuries and therefore, pro Palestinian/anti Israeli sentiment towards them is simply not relevant. Secondly we live in an alleged multi-cultural society and therefore should be accepting of all. That society does not allow for minorities to single out and predate on other minorities which, sadly, seems to be happening more and more.

 

The antisemitism also bespeaks the materialist religion of the Left having gone totally irrational.

Their anti-Zionist chants remind me of extreme fundamentalist Christians "speaking in tongues". Maybe they will next "take up serpents." Kind'a hope they do.

 

I have never understood the angst between different religions. I've said this before but no harm in repeating" one has to believe in a deity/higher power to have a "faith" and if one takes a step back from that all the religious strife just becomes utter nonsense and another way of various groups of people trying to control others.

 

The will of humans seems always to turn away from the Will of The Creator via His Prophets. This occurs with every religion. This Jesus of Nazareth showed-up. He immediately had to drive away money-lenders out of the Temple. The Jews had turned away from the teachings of the Old Testament . The same thing has happened with the Christians and the Muslims. They've turned away from the Teachings sent to them. Look at what the world has become!

Witness this current vile / corrupt era in which we live now! What a shi##-hole! Nations have turned away from all things clean and rational. Thus, there will be a Reckoning ... the sh## will hit the fan.

I have no use for the old "organized" religions due to they're having become corrupted beyond recognition. People cling to the superficial dogmas and rituals and totally forget the Message of the Prophets.

None of the Founding Fathers of America were fundamentalist Christians ... almost NONE whatsoever. They believed in The Creator, but they didn't believe dogmas such as the Trinity. They didn't believe that The Christ was some chunk of God that fell-off and landed on Earth. To me, stupid dogma's are blasphemous. Dogmas make God some sort of cartoon, NOT the Creator of universes (plural).

I've had many dreams come true. I've had past friends come to me in dreams. I've then looked at the obituaries of the towns into which they moved and discovered that, yep, they had just died. There is infinitely more to this life than this life alone. I get a lot of guidance from the experiences of people who have died and returned to this life. People of every differing religion have the SAME life-after-death experience. Thus, dogmas are utterly stupid.

Thomas Jefferson himself cut-out (literally so, physically so) the enlightened verses of the Bible to make his own book of guidance. Most Americans do not know this bit of history.

Jefferson was a deist....

Deist dogma says..."God sleeps....now it is up to us to run things..by logic..by reason..by wise men."

While I am not against logic and reason......be very very careful of how it is woven as a method of control over the public/herd ....and through public office...and what has become of leadership because of this kind of dogma run amok even in our colleges and universities........also amongst leadership...college and university trained/educated.

Our current leadership up in Washington D. C. is a textbook example of Deist dogma and religion run amok...even over the Constitution...in a quest to return back to "Absolute Power....Divine Right of Kings."


Be Warned these Ishmaelites.......and their devout religion seeking to replace the Religion of the People.

So 2 teachers and 1 pupil stabbed (not killed) in a school in Wales and the 13 year old attacker arrested and another two stabbed somewhere in England today. The school attacker used a 12" kitchen knife from home, she'd already been caught before for taking a blade into school

 

Western society has lost its underpinning.

 

There seem, to me, to be a number of underlying causes. Firstly I suspect violent video games are partly to blame. Fight. get "killed", reboot, fight again etc. Real life is, of course, not like that. A stabbing can, and often does, leave lifelong injuries. Films play their part I remember when Die Hard, the Bruce Willis film came out. At one point he is shot on the shoulder, but continues to fight etc. A forces mate told me he had seem someone shot in the shoulder, it took him off his feet and span him round, and the chap in question has a "withered" arm in a sling to this day.

Secondly, I believe we have imported the fiend violence of other cultures. Literally nobody got attacked with a machete 30 years ago in the UK. Now it is a daily occurrence. Machete attacks are a pattern of violence from West Indian (Caribbean) drug gang culture and we now have drug gangs in the UK. Of course most young people (of colour or otherwise) are not from the Caribbean, but are following their modern day ideas of those cultures.

Thirdly, and most importantly, the UK police are simply not effectively deal with the issue. Stop and search has been stepped back as certain sectors of the community feel it is racist, despite the simple facts that the knife attacks are overwhelmingly from their culture. The lack of action is supported be way sentencing. A community order for stabbing someone is too weak and despite the endless prattling on from our MPs about stiffening the penalties nothing is toughened up and it continues unabated.

How to fix it is the question and I have no answers.

 

I agree, and there is a direct link to where the problem originates. Decades ago there were "razor gangs" in the UK, but of course that died out due to unavailability.

 

Yes, I think that was the last of it. Probably due to the safety razor becoming popular at about that time.

I'm not worried about using an ATM at night here but, no, I'm rarely out at night these days.

 

I know a local who worked on cruise ships in her day (she's 80 and was originally from the Netherlands, moved to Aus with her parents when she was 14). She absolutely hated looking after the Jews on the ships. It's interesting how generations can change mindsets. She was also telling me she knew of a Jewish family who asked someone to look after a suitcase of shoes. They never returned to collected them, and when the suitcase was opened, it was found there was one left shoe and no right shoe to match.

 

Bloody hell. That's shocking. The more I hear about the UK, the more I wonder why on earth I would want to go back (and yet I do. Go figure).

It's not as if people are unaware of the risks.

 

Poor bloody farmer. I'm guessing he'll stay remanded in prison until the trial. I wonder what sort of sentence he will get.

It's the same in Aus (Aus and UK have so many similarities - not surprisingly). You aren't allowed to use excessive force, even if someone has entered your property with bad intentions. The force has to be in proportion. I think it's a bloody ridiculous law.

This really bewilders me. The Palestinian situation, no matter how awful it is, cannot be influenced at the level of local politics (it seems that at an international level it cannot be influenced, Israel is clearly disregarding the views of the rest of the world). By standing on one issue only those who get elected on the pro Palestinian vote were effectively saying they will do nothing for the local people that voted for them and only work as a pressure group. I am bewildered why people were not sharp enough to have spotted this.

 

Sure, but Muslims are as educated as the rest of us. Effectively they have abandoned any wish for local services etc by doing so. To me it is foolish to vote that way. The best chance of peace (and it is a slim chance) is to campaign internationally. Boycotting Israeli products, writing to the foreign minister (David Cameron) and using education as a tool. I do understand the depth of feeling they have for fellow believers, I just think that a candidate standing for an overseas issue in local politics is, at best, foolishly misguided.

 

It does certainly seem that sectarian voting is becoming the norm. We should learnt he lessons of Northern Ireland, terrorism and killing became part of normal life - we do not need that here.
