    Good morning all,

    Happy Veterans Day for celebrants.

    Above is my contribution to this memorial event. The article sums up my thoughts on this "once a near-sacred holiday".

    Student JH has already started to master English, philosophy and history.

    Those Mississippi folks know how to teach.

    I feel funny when people thank me for my service. I just did my job. In my mind, how do I accept Thanks when I came home. I spend Veterans Day remembering every friend I lost. It's all I can do. I have few regrets in life, but lying to my friends wives and loved ones about how and where they died, is a regret.
