Veterans' Day 2020

Good morning all,

Happy Veterans' Day to those who celebrate this holiday.

Of all the news articles and other pulp products in my collection, I lost a letter to the editor I saved for a couple of decades.

A WWII veteran who was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and had served in Europe, wrote a letter say that the only thing the US Government owes its veterans is the Government's very existence.

I don't celebrate the holiday within the usual import of the word "celebrate". I do reflect on it.

Wishing all veterans, even beyond US shores, a successful reflection on your service.
