    Good morning all,

    Per ...

Note "Addresses vaccination rates are down 76%".

Note "Governor Ralph Northam ... and preserving needed medical equipment".

Please let this article service as a reminder to keep one's immunizations up to date. This includes reminding those in group - extended family, close organizations like NGO Responders, vet groups.

    Plus, - Keep records !

Virginia is not alone. This is nationwide. I heard this reported last night. With State Governments not allowing doctors to practice medicine immunization is one of the things that has gone by the wayside. Only time will tell, but how many diseases will children get because they have not been immunized? How many cancer patients will not be diagnosed until it is to late? How many other diseases go untreated because people cannot see their doctor?

This is the ripple affect or the consequences to the action taken.

    Good morning Morgan,

I'm of the opinion that more is going on than this new strain of flu w/o a vaccine is governing the national scene.

My personal view is that children get health care priority over the elderly sick who were living in cramped nursing homes.

That is part of the problem. Nobody is getting Health Care. Unless it is a dire emergency or Covid 19 you are on your own.

We hear a lot of talk about a vaccine, but who knows when we will get it, or how effective it will be. How effective is a flu vaccine, now? 50% if that?

    Good morning Morgan,

    Exactly !

We're all YOYO - "You're On Your Own" - to use some Prepper - lingo - if not a COVID-19 case or the EMTs arrive at the ER with a forest fire victim.

If, eg 3 years ago, the US flu season had no immunization vaccine, would the results of the season be much different than the experience of today - ie the elderly-sick from nursing homes/other institutional housing having the sky-high mortality rates, the middle age with serious diseases, poor hygiene, heavy alcohol consumption, - - - Not the same or at least similar to today ?

With flu vaccine: concur ~ 50%. The other factors must be added that are sometimes not. Getting a flu shot and not maintaining health eg a semi-decent diet, ... I was told by medical personnel that a pre rabies immunization (believe was 3 shots) does not prevent rabies. It minimizes the effect of a rabies exposure.

Of course, now with the deployments and their return, the USNS Southern Comfort and the USNS Mercy Needed for the Californians, many issues are being forced through with positive results - like cross state lines practice of medical care.

    MAGA
