recently picked up a new book called Walter Arnold Maine Trapper by a fella named woods.

Walter was a trapper from the days when trappers went into the back country and set up a line along with a base cabin and out lying cabins. Not "mountainman era" more like 1900 on. I read a bit about him in the old Fur-Fish- Game magazines. When I was a kid we always had a pile laying around. I don't think he was as well known as E.J. Dailey or Wildcat Lynch but they were from roughly the same time frame. From a time when fellas would make a living trapping and a good one. The wilderness trapper was every kids dream, at least this kid.

Anyhoo looking forward to reading this book, I have so many that need reading LOL
