    Interesting Pragmatist. We still use plastic bags here (though you have to pay for them) or you can bring your own bags to pack groceries. The major supermarkets make cloth bags which they sell. The smaller supermarkets have a lot of cardboard boxes you can put your groceries in, which you can then dispose of yourself.

    Haha, I was thinking this when I heard last week they were telling people in CA not to bring the reusables they've been beating us over the head about for the last couple of year.s
