Who Is Your Favorite Movie Director?

    I'm a big fan of Steven Spielberg. To me, he is a master... One of the great geniuses of the seventh art! :)

    I've watched practically all his filmography and I've lost count of how many times I've watched many of my favorite movies that he directed, for example: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, The Color Purple and Indiana Jones.

    It would definitely be Stephen Speilberg for me. His creativity really brightened up the movie landscape his productions were diverse, therefore, he has been able to capture the attention of many that may have varying interests so he is revered by a wide cross section of people. His movies are mostly watched for a repeated number of times by many of his fans because of the intensity and awesomeness. Movies like Jaws, E.T., Indiana Joe, Saving Private Ryan, and Indiana Jones to name a few

    My personal favorite is Michael Bay. He does a great job with fiction films.He really brings out the awe in the many movies that he has directed.

    Well... What can I say besides saying that I agree 100% with you? :D Steven Spielberg is a phenomenal diretor! ;)

    I think he is a nice diretor (I like some of his movies, especially the "Transformers" franchise :D), but he wouldn't be on my list of favorite directors.

    He has a very impressive body of work. How could you not love One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Amadeus; two of my all time favorites. Good choice, Yenix.
