It's about the HK finance folks testing how they would react to their portion of the pandemic and the riots.

Note article's "sought approval ... to allow ... more documents to be signed digitally".

Note mention of "social distancing". There goes the 3 hour lunch !

"reputational damage" really means having an experienced PIO - Public Information Officer - like a Connie Chung (many available in HK) and outfitted with the best looking PPE coat. Coat cost is irrelevant.

 

If only they did so few years back, that would save me a lot of of money for flying back and forth

 

People are getting crazy about this coronavirus thing. I heard about someone doing a practical joke where they showed up in hazmat suits and told the people that there was a report of someone there being infected with it. Before they could tell them that it was a joke people started screaming and there was a wild rush for the door. There were some minor injuries and possible charges may be filed on the jokers.

They (The Media and Government Pencil pushers) have the idiot sheeple (about 70% of the population) convinced that the flu is the plague and will kill you if you get infected. WRONG, it will make you sick. Most people will recover and be fine. Unfortunately, sheeple have two states. Mindless (Who, me worry??!!) state and total panic that leads to riots and a stampede off a cliff.
