    In response to another post.

Poor in Canada, means you basically have nothing. If you work for a living outside government, you basically have nothing. You can work all your life in Canada, and have nothing. Well go to your local food bank. That is basically all you will get for all the taxes you payed all your life. Go to the poor part of town. That at best is where you will live with all the gangs around. Whatever they pretend to be.

Retire and end up loosing your home to taxes, bills, etc. That is common place. Especially if a spouse dies. It is not uncommon for old people to get bills from city hall or town halls again, for bills they already payed. Maybe a year or two later. Lost receipt. Have to pay again. Stealing older peoples money and then modest homes. Seen this many times, growing up, and while older. Way over valued home values to tax more. No money to fight them.

It is so bad here in Yellowknife NT Canada. There have been stories in the local newspaper I worked at, before I became homeless, about city hall accounting system over billing basically.

I went and payed some bills, and got back 3 times the amount still owing on the invoice. This happened 3 times on three manual invoices. Done at one time I think. Complained about it to city hall worker who did manual invoices, and she said it was ok. Nothing wrong basically. Lying to my face in public.

Then I asked for the manager, she said to it was ok basically. Some stupid story how they could not fix it basically. This is what they do to people around here.

I lived in one other place in Canada. They do the same thing to. Maybe differently sometimes. Still stealing old peoples money basically, but pretending not to. Go after poor people and there life saving basically, and then take there modest homes from them.

"Impoverished Canadians Seek Euthanasia As A Solution While Trudeau Vacations In Jamaica"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political...asia-solution-while-trudeau-vacations-jamaica

"Poverty stricken Canadians are going to food banks not just for help in feeding themselves and their families, but also to ask about government assisted suicide as a potential solution to their struggles. Canada's cost of living crisis is growing (as is America's crisis), with inflation ongoing and spiking interest rates crushing lower and middle class workers with increased debt burdens. The average monthly food costs for a family of four in Ottawa is around $1000 and the average monthly rent is $2000.

"Canada's euthanasia laws are becoming alluring to those people that cannot afford rising expenses and see no other way out.

"The nation's revised medical assistance in dying (MAID) came into force on March 17, 2021. The new law includes changes to eligibility, procedural safeguards, and the framework for the federal government’s data collection and reporting regime."

"This comes as Trudeau had been found in violation of conflict-of-interest rules in 2017 after a 2016 vacation he took to the Aga Khan’s private island in the Bahamas.

"The prime minister must fly on a Royal Canadian Air Force plane for security reasons, even if it’s for personal travel.

first off i am a proud canadian ,what are you guys talking about, this lots like someone has sold you a pile of bs. most Canadians are far better off than most Americans. for example we have free Medicare for every one, we will have free dental for seniors in a couple of years, our drugs cost a fraction of what you pay in the states, if one worked they will get at least two pensions one provincial and on federal. I myself have four pensions , and two houses one city one vacation , i go to Florida every year for a month. how many American's have that?
some one is selling you guy BS.

further Canada has a full set of relief programs to help those with problems that would cause an American to choke thinking it was communism but it is not, it is the advantaged looking out for the disadvantaged .

If one pays high taxes then "free" government programs are not free. When working for the Germans, I couldn't believe how high their taxation rates were. The Germans couldn't believe how much land/acreage we American workers owned for what they considered to be a ridiculously low prices.

People living under government rule that denies them the means to defend themselves against felons and corrupted government are not free.

God government, "I will not let you buy handguns. You have no right to own certain types of rifles. You are protected by government. You are not mature enough and too, you could pose a threat to us who are in government -- not going to happen."

I could hand-out free handguns and "assault rifles" to the people in Canada, England, ... fill in the blank nation, whose genetics originated in Europe and their behavioral patterns would continue to be European/civilized. I would to God that I could go back a decade before WWII and hand out rifles to the Jewish people of Europe. Would they still have still been killed? Probably, however they would have died with honor and would have taken tens of thousands of NAZI troops with them.

In the U.S., the vast majority of the poor exist in families whose fathers have abandoned them. It is my belief that if you father a child, then you take care of that child or else wind-up in a work camp where your wages will be used to support your offspring. DNA testing can establish who the father is. If the woman will not name the father, then she should not receive benefits, maybe even have her child adopted-out to people who are able to control their glandular activities.

Family and friends have run-up hospital bills well beyond their ability to pay. They were not denied services. Payment plans are based on one's income after any social services (Medicaid or Medicare) monies have been paid-out. For instance, one can pay like $150/mo to reimburse. It is illegal for a medical institution to foreclose / place a lean on a home loan, or take possession a car to obtain payment. In America, hospitals and physicians eat a lot of their cost of treatment.

Historically, physicians and attorneys took on 10% of their practice as pro-bono. Nowadays, it's pecuniary to the max.

One thing the U.S. hasn't taken-on is tort reform. Lawyers grow rich on invalid lawsuits. England has a great way of dealing with this: If someone brings a lawsuit up which has zero foundation, then the person who brought the invalid lawsuit to court has to eat the court costs plus the attorney fees of the party from whom they were seeking restitution.

Congress is majority attorneys, thus reform will never happen.

Were America to sent to Canada the type of people causing problems here, then Canada would experience the same. Uncivilized people hurt other people and they also destroy their own lives. When American riots occur, look at the video footage of all the looting. The people you see in those videos are who we have to support day-in and day-out. A chunk of my salary went to feed their babies and now that I'm retired, I still pay taxes to cover the childcare that the biological fathers refuse to pay.

Am I angry about this? No, I'm furious :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

"Under Britain’s socialized medicine, a cancer diagnosis meets a 3-year waitlist"

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blo..._cancer_diagnosis_meets_a_3year_waitlist.html

"For decades, American leftists have been insisting that the way to beat America’s soaring health costs is through socialized medicine. England, Europe, and even Cuba, they assure us, are the models we should look to when it comes to bringing affordable healthcare to everything. However, healthcare in these countries isn’t looking so healthy lately. In England, for example, a 61-year-old man with a cancer diagnosis was just told that he must wait three years (not a typo) to be seen at a hospital.

"When England instituted socialized medicine in 1948, medicine was simple. The doctor had only a few weapons in his arsenal: physical examination, x-rays, biopsies (for diagnosis), newly discovered antibiotics, and fairly simple surgeries (no organ or joint replacements nor “gender reassignments”). Under this system, the ability to see a doctor, something poor people couldn’t previously afford, wasn’t too costly.

"The system wasn’t meant to deal with what eventually happened: medicine became more sophisticated. Today’s doctor’s examination is mostly a pathway to fancy tests that require costly equipment, followed by treatments with insanely expensive pharmaceutical supplies or sophisticated surgery. The outcomes are much, much better, as reflected in the greater longevity we had right up until COVID madness began. But the costs…wow!

"The European systems chugged along for a while, even as medical care got more complicated, only because Americans paid for it by absorbing their defense costs during the Cold War.

"In a socialized system, especially when the good times of the Cold War end, these rising costs must be accommodated. The only accommodation is rationing, and socialized systems eventually can afford only to provide only enough care to maintain those workers who pay into the system. If you’re old and sick (i.e., no longer funding the system), you are out of luck.

"The same article says that the NHS has 6 million people waiting for surgeries for non-life-threatening issues—or 9% of the United Kingdom’s population. If that 6 million number refers only to England’s NHS (as opposed to Scotland’s or Wale’s), then 10.6% of the population is on a healthcare waitlist."

"Granddad who battled cancer is told he has a three-year wait for a hospital appointment"

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1700739/granddad-cancer-appointment-NHS-wait

"A cancer-battling granddad has been left flabbergasted after being told he must wait three years for a hospital appointment. Andrew Jones, 61, won't be allowed to attend the medical facility until it's almost time for the next World Cup in North America.

"The granddad from Bridgnorth, Shrops, will have to wait until June 2025 before he can go for a check up at Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, the Express and Star reports.

"Mr Jones thought there was a mistake on the letter he received on Saturday but was horrified to discover his appointment is correct, leaving him with nearly 1,000 days to wait.

"His confirmation arrived days after a 16-year-old boy was told he wouldn't been seen for 950-days for his "urgent" NHS appointment for a urology-related problem.

"There are currently six million people on waiting lists for treatments such as hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery and tests. This compares to 4.4 million before the pandemic.

"NHS England also intends to eliminate waits of more than a year and return to pre-pandemic levels of patients who have to wait more than 62 days for an urgent cancer referral.

"But National Audit Office chief Gareth Davies said: “There are significant risks to the delivery of the plan. The NHS faces workforce shortages and inflationary pressures.”

"It comes as Health Secretary Steve Barclay had to deny telling Treasury officials the NHS 'could cope' without extra cash to cover inflation.

"The latest data from NHS England released earlier this month showed that, in relation to cancer, the proportion of patients who saw a specialist within two weeks of being referred urgently by their GP had dropped to its lowest level on record.

"Some 251,977 urgent cancer referrals were made by GPs in September, down from 255,055 the previous month but the highest number recorded for the month of September.

"However, only 72.6% of patients in England had a first consultant appointment within two weeks that month against a 93% target, the worst performance on record."

In the U.S., one is treated, then the payment details are worked-out. We do have some socialism going on for the the poor, Medicaid, and for the elderly, Medicare. People like myself in retirement purchase supplemental medical / pharmaceutical plans. My wife and I went to an insurance agency that represented several ins. companies. I bought one health-care insurance company's plan, my wife another. Our health issues are different, thus one company's product met my needs with affordable costs and it was another company that best matched my wife's needs. When going to a physician, a retired person provides their socialized plan, Medicare (parts A and/or B), then pulls-out their private plan that supplements what the taxpayers eat.

My son was in a 99.99% fatal car accident. A helo dust-off and a high-tech hospital saved his life from certain death. His spine had to be rebuilt by a lattice-work of metal, both lungs had to be reinflated, he'd basically had broken every bone in his body other that his right humerus. He was on a ventilator for over a month. One of his legs had to be amputated. His medical bill was over a half-million dollars. He had no insurance, so Medicaid paid part of the tab. He now makes monthly payments of around $200. In short, the hospital ate the costs. This was a teaching hospital, so medical students got their practice.

In cities, the poor usually go to the county hospital for non-emergency treatments. My son was not transported to the county hospital because they would have not been able to save him.

Back in the latter 1990s, a co-worker and I were on a business trip to a small city above Toronto, Ontario. We spoke with the other company's engineering crew (they were doing a project for our company and we were part of our company's Quality Control Engineering department there to see how things were progressing, i.e. basic stuff; party at night on the company's tab). Their folk answered our questions about what healthcare was like in Ontario -- me, I was very curious about their system, knew precious little. One of their stories stuck in my mind. There were three hospitals in their general region. These hospitals needed a CAT scan x-ray machine. They were going to share the machine between the three hospitals. The government was going to front them a bunch of money, however they had to come up with the rest of the dough. Therefore, they had to have a big telethon event to make up the difference. We told them that in America, almost all hospitals had CAT-scanners, even the Podunk Nowhere hospitals.

Major companies and major universities providing their employees' insurance has been enabling healthcare clinics, hospitals, and research institutions. Add to this, major company donations and grants. Now that companies are moving oversees to utilize cheap labor and Chinese slave labor, this greatly damages healthcare funding.

Were insane tort laws removed and FDA regulations made sane, billions of dollars would be saved.

Canada last year had just under 1/2 million emigrates , we will continue to have about 1/2 for the next several years. We need these people they are hard working Canada has experienced one of the fastest recoveries from the pandemic, thanks in large part to our approach to immigration. Newcomers enrich our communities, and contribute to our economy by working, creating jobs and supporting local businesses. Recognizing their value, the Government of Canada planned to welcome 431,645 new permanent residents in 2022.

European-Americans have the same violent crime rates as seen in Europe.

Blacks compose 13% of the U.S. population but are responsible for well over 50% of the murders and armed robberies. Our urban swaths are home to overt gang warfare. These gangs are comprised of over 95% Black and Hispanic youths. Black on Black violence is responsible for America's high body count.

In the USA, white people by far own more handguns and long-guns than do minorities, yet have only a fraction of the violent crime. This includes impoverished white Americans. The presence of guns is not responsible for irresponsible behavior.

You can call this racist all day long; however, the numbers are the numbers.

I found a graphic from the year 2020. These numbers are from the CDC (national Centers for Disease Control) Since then, inner city violence has increased. Many crime rates are down, but not homicide, certainly not gang violence.

And one IS much safer in Canada ... except in certain urban areas therein. American inner cities and especially minority neighborhoods are NOT safe. Never go there. American police and emergency services when going into minority neighborhoods must go in convoy formation due to the high rates of violence. Fire trucks and ambulances are shot at. Entering America's inner cities is in-effect leaving America and entering into some third-world nation.

of course, the rising population couldnt have anything to do with waiting lists could it?
in England there are 2 main problems with the NHS(national health service), one is the huge number of vacancies in hospital care many of which have to be covered by agency staff which is more expensive than paying staff direct.
the other main problem is "bed blocking", not being able to move recovered patients to their homes or to a care facility as the ongoing care system is privatised and is vastly underpaid (minimum pay) and staff can get better money working in supermarkets.

Agency nurses earn very good money, full time graduate staff nurse starts off on around £15 an hour plus unsocial hours top up so at weekends its over £20 and hour (basic registered nurse pay band) rising in increments as they gain experience, an agency nurse can earn around £30+ an hour but (there's always a but)...the agency nurse works when needed, does not get guaranteed hours, the hospital Trust does not have to pay guaranteed six week a year holiday/vacation pay, does not have to provide six months sick pay, does not have to contribute to the nurses pension pot all of which they have to do with staff on permanent contracts...do the math, agency cost over a year can easily be cheaper than hiring staff on permanant contracts.

Rubbish, hiring agency staff costs millions of pounds and the NHS has said so at various times, but its the only way they can get staff with all the vacancies plus more staff leaving because of "burn out" caused by the pandemic.

    Emasculating the populace:

"Canada’s Gun Confiscation Program in 'First Phase' ”

    https://www.ammoland.com/2023/07/canadas-gun-confiscation-program-in-first-phase/#axzz87QLj1sSZ

" ... In an interview, CSAAA president Winkel offered a grimmer and less restrained assessment about his association 'partnering' with the federal government. 'Using the term ‘partner’ is kind of like saying that the person that’s hanging from the gallows is a partner of the person that’s operating the gallows.'

"News outlets (here, here and here) had previously reported on federal government plans, starting in late 2022, to use Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island (PEI), as the 'pilot province' for the gun confiscation program, given its low number of licensed gun owners (an estimated 6,464 compared to 624,448 in Ontario). A federal memo cited in the reports gave a start date for the program throughout Canada: 'Phase two, the national rollout, is planned for spring 2023…' However, this 'first point of collection' pilot has now been scrapped, with currently no public timeline for when the buyback program will begin.'

"This latest package of amendments, though, comes back to the same language. The government’s press release states the amendments will redefine a 'prohibited firearm' to include 'semi-automatic, centre-fire firearms that are not handguns that were originally designed with a detachable magazine with a capacity of six cartridges or more,' although this definition would apply to guns designed and manufactured on or after the date the law takes effect.

"The announcement on the recent Bill C-21 amendments advises that the government will be 'moving forward in the future with additional measures through regulations,' including regulations 'to require the permanent alteration of long-gun magazines so they can never hold more than five rounds and to ban the sale of transfer of magazines capable of holding more than the legal number of bullets.'

"The new narrative, like the one before it, is to treat almost all long guns as 'assault-style firearms,' evidenced by Mendicino’s tweet claiming the amendments will 'get assault style firearms out of our communities.' The Conservative Party’s public safety critic, Raquel Dancho, responded with the observation that 'the ‘new’ Liberal definition is the same as the old one.' "

Police in Canada reported 297 homicide victims whose cause of death was shooting in 2021. This represented a rate of 0.78 victims per 100,000 population, marking a 6% increase from the previous year and the highest rate recorded in Canada since 1992.
Firearm deaths include all deaths involving guns, such as homicide, suicide, and accidents. More people in the US die from suicide involving a firearm than homicides or accidents. In 2021, there were a total of 48,830 firearm deaths, an increase of 3,608 or 8% from 2020. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

so 297 vs 48,830 where would you live , who is out of control ?

In America, black people are killing black people.
In Canada, black people are killing black people. Relative to the U.S., Canada's black population is minute, therefore Canada's homicide statistics are not skewed.

in the year up to 31st March 2021 there were 35 homicides by shooting in the UK.
the total homicides ( from any cause) in the same period was 594 of which 114 were domestic homicides.
thats out of a population of 68 million, which is even less than 0 .01%

If one lives in a town or region of America where almost all of the people are of Western European origin, then you will experience the same low level of violent crime as seen in Europe and Canada.

Crime statistics mean nothing unless one takes into consideration demographics.

By percentage and raw numbers, white Americans own the most guns of any race. Yet, they have low homicide rates. Asian Americans have exactly the same access to firearms, yet have almost non-existent murder rates. Asians get murdered, but they sure aren't killing each other.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/an-overdue-conversation-about-black-on-asian-violence

    https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2017/06/22/the-demographics-of-gun-ownership/

Since the Obama administration, the Department of Justice has become politicized (even more so under biden). Obtaining statistics with ethnicity figured in is getting more and more difficult. Also, the media covers-up the black-on-black homicide plague. Sadly, the numbers today are much worse than 5 or 10 years ago.

Homicide rates in the latter 1980s on into the 1990s were very high due to the cocaine/crack wars being fought by inner city black gangs. Then, things cooled off a whole lot after that period, but after 2011-ish the numbers started heading back up (stricter gun control laws had no effect). After 2020, American cities have become as dangerous as back during the 1990s and even getting worse.

    Here's an article from 1989:

Murder in America, here are some charts:

    upload_2023-7-28_15-9-4.png

In sum, a 13% racial component of the U.S. is committing over 55% of the murders.

Black homicides greatly skew American national statistics concerning homicide. America looks dangerous, but this nation is anything but homogeneous. Wherever there is gang warfare -- primarily inner cities -- there is danger. The police and emergency services people fear going into minority neighborhoods ... unless you're talking Asian, that's a totally safe place. Heartland America -- the vast swath of this country -- is safe.

    ===================

Doesn't really matter which country we are talking about. The same behavioral patters are witnessed in the U.K.

"Homicide in England and Wales: year ending March 2022"

"Analyses of information held within the Home Office Homicide Index, which contains detailed record-level information about each homicide recorded by police in England and Wales."

    https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula.../articles/homicideinenglandandwales/march2022

"The homicide rate over the three-year period to the year ending March 2022 was 39.7 per million population for the Black ethnic group, approximately four times higher than for the White ethnic group (8.9 per million population)."

    ------------------------------

The U.K. has only a tiny fraction of the number of people of African origin than does the United States. Inner city gangs are almost all black in ethnicity. In Chicago and Los Angeles, there are very many Latino gangs. Often, black gangs want Latino gang members dead and guess what, the reverse is also true. However, it is mostly blacks killing blacks. This horrific phenomenon has been labeled "black genocide".

Here is another chart concerning racial crime in the U.S.

"Yes, the Media Bury the Race of Murderers—If They're Not White"

    https://freebeacon.com/media/yes-the-media-bury-the-race-of-murderers-if-theyre-not-white/

"The Free Beacon collected data on nearly 1,100 articles about homicides from six major papers, all written between 2019 and 2021. Those papers included the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, San Francisco Chronicle, and Minneapolis's Star-Tribune—representatives of each paper did not return requests for comment for this article. For each article, we collected the offender's and victim's name and race, and noted where in the article the offender's race was mentioned, if at all."

Question: Are "assault rifle" owners in Canada turning-in their firearms (voluntary castration)?

    Handguns are next.

Then of course there's the matter of testosterone causing greatly increased rates of violence and murders among males vs. females. So mandating that men be neutered will be a great benefit to society.

    God government knows best.
