    The Wuhan evacuees arrived in California and are being screened / interviewed. Arrangements made with California in case of needed hospital screenings.

    CDC is institutionally skilled in handling diseases. This does not mean they're skilled in preventing panics.

    Most Americans do not read the CDC website.
