Yes, I'm on a resources witch hunt if you haven't noticed. This is something that my family had taught us when we were kids. We would go hiking with very little food, or none at all. They would teach us what we cold eat and what was natural medicine in the wild.
There was maybe 2 or 3 herbs in this PDF that I identified in Hawaii. I do not recall seeing the rest. It doesn't hurt to learn other species that aren't in your immediate area. In a survival situation, having these around would be a life saver.
