Oh no it cant be an island subsiding!
It has to be sea level rises! but just where those islands are!

The science behind the reality of global warming is VERY well established. NO plausible argument against the overwhelming anthropogenic component has ever been offered. The Milankovitch cycle predicts global cooling, as well as the current short-term solar cycles. Any volcanic activity causes serious cooling ( usually short term) . Bear in mind that we have experienced several periods of "mini ice ages" such as the Dalton, Maunder, and Sporer minima, and are now in one. However, anthropogenic production of both CO2 and CH4 have overwhelmed these effects. Ice cores clearly show the trends associated with these gases, as well as the sources. Sorry, I don't care how much the Koch brothers want to pay you to believe their lies, the facts are there.
Rise in sea levels has TWO components. Melting of ice sheets is one, but thermal expansion of sea water is another. Sea levels have increased more near Miami than near New England, and more in the tropics than in polar regions.

Sorry Thomas but that is a religion I refute!
Wont argue the point and not paid by anyone !
Have been researching this from its birth in the seventies, was a believer for a while but the numbers just don't add up!"
I call BOLLOCKS" on the rest especially summery opinions!
    It just ain't happening !
But seeing as it has reached religious status I can no longer be bothered!

Try 1917, when Alexander Graham Bell predicted anthropogenic global warming would occur because of increased burning of fossil fuels. The religious component comes from the coal industry, which has a log history of abusing its laborers and even murdering their children. Even much of the petroleum industry is trying to move to the renewable energy business model. Actually, methane is becoming a greater threat than CO2. About 10,000 years ago a great release of methane from undersea deposits caused a very rapid warming, resulting in rapid sea level increases (probably the origin of "great flood" myths). Melting of permafrost poses such a threat, as it will produce a great amount of methane.
Global warming presents very REAL dangers we survivalists need to be aware of!

About 10,000 years ago was the ending of the iceage and many changes were taking place, huge changes!

Millions of years ago atmospheric CO2 was around 1,400ppm and it was so for most of the last several hundred million years and vegetation literally boomed!

Currently vegetation is being starved/deprived of food and little can get close to its full potential!
Yet there is a world wide religion whos sole purpose is to continue this mass starvation. Seems like it has to be mass stupidity to me!

Give plants back there food, they are entitled to it, why should some upstart bipods be allowed to starve plants! they have rights too!!
