I recently invested in an AR-15. I'll be Form 1ing it to SBR configuration soon. I'd also like to add a "can" (silencer) at some point. I'm heavily leaning towards one of the suppressors Advanced Armament Corp (AAC) as I have a 9mm version of theirs and it is quite good. That said, I am open to suggestions. It would have to be:

    • 5.56mm/.223, naturally.
    • Threaded 1/2x28.
    • As compact as reasonably possible.
    • As economic as possible, but not bottom of the barrel.
    • It does not have to be quick detach.
    • It does not have to be full-auto rated.
    Thanks much for any ideas.

    Huh? Sorry, I don't follow.

Anyway, it is within our budget and I wouldn't mind getting one in the NFA pipeline before 41F takes effect in July. Odds are I won't have one nailed down in time and will have to do the extra paperwork. But that is not the end of the world.
