With the last pretend money we got from the Borg, we bought a brand-spanking-new generator large enough to handle a freezer and fridge and, and, and. I was going to buy another rifle, used/carbine, however it was a bit too used. For Christmas we got each other some very cold weather thermal clothing. It's gonna get down to 17 deg.F tonight (-8.3 deg.C). I was out working on guttering/roof-runoff issues yesterday and my surplus Swiss rain poncho kept me warm and dry; had on my barn boots for the muck.

I'm gonna turn our fiat dollars into real things while I still can. Can't buy silver anymore -- that's back up there to $25/27 bucks/oz. I remember buying junk silver at $4/oz. Suffice it to say I only have get-by quantities -- homey got no fortune. I'm not brain-damaged, so I know that all retirement accounts are going to dissolve. I'm getting our sons ready; welding equipment for our oldest & home repairs for our youngest. The oldest, genius-fellow (142 or 147 IQ), proved that he was actually intelligent (common sense beats the dickens out of theory crap) by learning to weld -- even though massively disabled, he still can weld. Youngest son is part of rebuilding infrastructure in his state (company rebuilds bridges, there's work to be done on the hydroelectric dams, groundwork for hospitals ... physical stuff, CAD, surveying, ...; America's aging infrastructure is an absolute catastrophe in the making).

In sum, while everyone is fooled into believing that Western fiat currencies have value, we should turn this electronic B.S. into real objects / real equipment. China and Russia are buying gold at as rapid rate as they can afford -- 1) they aren't stupid; 2) they deeply want/need to kill the U.S. dollar as the international exchange currency. The euro is dying on its own -- German banks are beginning to suck mud. The banks of at least four other European countries are dead meat.

Here in the states, the people who do not possess IQs will use any stimulus money to buy malt liquor and cartons of menthol cigarettes. Expensive TVs and brand-name tennis shoes they loot whenever some cop shoots an armed felon and sets off "peaceful protests."

There is now ZERO possibility of America healing. The days of compromise are long gone. People here are getting to the point where they want BLM and Anifa to riot. This helps kill cities.
