I believe the next silencer acquisition will be for the .30-caliber platforms. I would be suppressing an M1 Carbine and, possibly, a Winchester 1894 hunting rifle. I've had good results with Advanced Armament Corp (AAC) cans, so will likely stay with that, but am open to other suggestions. Anyone have some recommendations? Thanks!
No. I have zero use for a suppressor. I have no issue for others that do. Illegal for hunting in Ohio anyway. I'm glad you have use for them.
I had no idea. I still have zero use for one. But nothing against using one for those that want one. Go fer it.
THEY ARE LEGAL IN OHIO! I had no idea 'till I just looked it up. https://www.guntrustlawyer.com/2015/03/hunting-with-suppressors-in-ohio-now-legal.html
They are legal in a lot of states, but regardless of state legality you still must pay the federal tax and paperwork to have one.
Yes, they are presently legal to own in 42 states. They are legal to hunt with in most of those states. The paperwork and the tax are nothing, though present wait times are insane. I've found cans very useful for a variety of applications. Bringing the conversation back to the original point: Anyone have experience with the AAC 762-SDN-6? Thanks.
