    Hi everyone!

If anyone likes reading apocalyptic/dystopian type fiction, please check out my new book 46 Hour to Home on Amazon. It is currently free and the promotion runs through April 2. If you do read it, please take a moment to leave a rating/review.

Thanks everyone. Be safe out there!

I assume you are a new member on this forum, yet I do not recall seeing your introduction as yet! This is NOT an advertising site, we expect some interaction between members. After that PROVIDING you intend to participate on this forum, you can publish a link to your book in the Reference Material section.

46 hours to home dosent sound much of a survival novel, now if it was 46 DAYS or even 46 WEEKS that would be more like it.

Thinking about the nature of how fast things move today....46 hours could be all many people get.

O.K. it has been a little over a month since the original post. Does anybody who got a copy have an opinion on the book? Good, Bad, Indifferent?

I downloaded and read the book. It made many very good points for being prepared and to those not prepared. I only found fault with the authors need to provide too much trivial data. The pertinent descriptions where good but who really cares about all the street names the characters traversed. The e-book price was reasonable but I would have been disappointed if I had paid regular book price. It is a good read worth the low price tag. It not the book of the month winner. I do think the author has a good future ahead and future stories will be even better.

I agree with TMT. I downloaded the free version and it's a short read but would be half the length if you cut out the streets where he repeatedly does the same thing. Also if the locations, streets and apparent routing thru all of it is so critical to the storyline then you think he' include a graphic with a map of the geography to help in understanding how it all relates and scales. A lot of areas could have developed further and into more detail, not sure maybe he fast tracked things trying to keep to his 46hr timeline? Overall decent writing, grammar etc... but could use more meat. If it's your first go though, better than most I've read in this genre.

oh PatRiot... FYI it's "wrought" iron not "rod" iron

Though I'm guessing this was his one and done, hit and run post in hopes of drumming up sales, and that he was not actually seeking valid critique and reviews. I noted he's not made a post or visit since.

I had trouble getting into this book, I had to skip the first 40 pages as its full of technical data and terminology which frankly dosent add anything to the story, its only once they leave the control centre that the story really starts.

As Prepper porn goes it's better than most grammatically but less than many content wise.
