"Last week, the New York Times published a report on the trial of 10 black teenagers charged with conspiracy to murder in Manchester in the UK. The piece details how the group of young men planned a ‘revenge’ attack against a rival group that had been involved in the brutal murder of one of their friends, John Soyoye. The Manchester Evening News has reported that, following Soyoye’s death, ‘members of the M40 gang stocked up on weapons including machetes and a crossbow, and carried out at least three brutal attacks to avenge’ him. The attacks were ‘meticulously planned on group chats over three months’. Four members of the group were found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to commit murder and a further six were found guilty of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent. They received sentences ranging from 20 months to 21 years in prison. This is yet another example of the needless destruction that is left in the wake of violent crime.

"The New York Times piece rightly points to one of the most striking things about this case: that many of the members of this ‘gang’ were not without prospects. One had been accepted into Salford University for an accounting course, another was due to start an engineering course, another had been an active member of his school and local community. However, the piece avoids the most pertinent questions, such as why a group of young boys, clearly capable of contributing to society, would knowingly engage in acts of such gratuitous and nihilistic violence – acts that eviscerated their future. Rather than ask why we are failing to socialise these young men, or how we might break the cycle of violence, the piece simply hands them an excuse: racism.

"Reporting like this is deeply corrosive and disempowering to black youths. It promotes a narrative of victimhood and hands excuses to people. The end of the article quotes Adedeji, saying that ‘because of the colour of my skin I got handed down a lengthy sentence’. This mindset will do nothing to help him understand what he has done and what he can do to change his life. It will only breed resentment and defeatism. But this is precisely the mindset being promoted by the media on both sides of the Atlantic."

Sad but true Old Geezer, The attitude that allowed people to think they were convicted of being black instead of being convicted of a serious crime like attempted murder is not a healthy mindset.
There is a general lack of good sense in a lot of teenage boys, whatever their race or religious background. If they fall in with bad influences or the wrong crowd they can end up throwing away their lives and ruining the lives of others.

 

There was a tendency among working class white youths back in the 70s to believe that one was convicted for being poor. This is not a new phenomenon. The problem with young black men is that so many are involved in a drugs and knives cultures, which seems to be endemic these days, that on a pro rate basis they are more likely to offend in their communities. A bit of self awareness of the issues would help them a good deal.

 

There is a sick mindset prevailing in Western nations wherein "somebody is to blame" / "I'm oppressed". When individual responsibility goes out the window, then civilization begins to crumble.

The only reason that a healthy religious atmosphere helps lower crime is due to the teaching of, "This is on YOUR soul! Do what is right, otherwise YOU will be held to account for your actions."

The blame game and imaginings of entitlement bring down civilizations. Human History speaks loudly and clearly about this.

I'd say that many English folk no longer see London as being part of England.

In the American heartlands, we no longer consider the megalopolises as being American.

Los Angeles and New York City are international cities. The human behaviors in such places doesn't match our culture. Pacific coast cities pose little threat to those east of them in that the mountains and deserts provide a natural wall to contain refugees. Here in the east however, we could easily get refugees from the coastal urban sprawls. Where the wife and I live we are within refugee range of these anthills. These are under 200 miles away = way too close.

We in this area will have to establish perimeters. The interstate highways will get jammed for a few days. That's a bit of protection; however, there are numerous state and county roads due to the innumerable number of farms. Agricultural goods have to get to market. So, those roads will need to be cut or manned by armed locals.

A month ago-ish, I started down a county road, using it as a shortcut. Oops, didn't get very far. Locals standing out in the road blocked me and signaled for me to turn around. While making a U-turn, I could see that a horrible accident had occurred on a hill-curve on the road ahead -- really a nasty curve that, gotta be careful, stay well on your side of the road, lest cause a head-on collision. There are several houses there, so everybody was out, some directing traffic. Fire department and police officers were dealing with the bad wreck.

Locals here do this sort of thing. People act. If things go sideways, we don't just sit and watch. Example: Let's say some psycho is walking down a street shooting into houses and businesses. Mr. Psycho would stand a huge chance of getting shot by the locals. I myself would go out and cut him in half with lots of lead. Got a loaded accurate .357 lever action rifle sitting behind me. You don't think about it. You act. You do something to shut-down chaos of any sort. If Mr. Psycho did this out in county farmlands, the locals would nuke him long before the sheriff's department deputies got there. He'd catch a round from a deer rifle. Out there, every household has a scoped deer rifle. Maybe that's why we don't get many psychos going on shooting sprees here in the Heartlands. Even a nutcase understands that he's not going to get much accomplished other than getting himself dead -- might as well commit suicide at home.

Side note about local roads in Southern Appalachia: Roads here are massively curvy, with upgrades and downgrades, many of which are steep. Between mountain ranges, the valleys are not flat, it's all rolling land. Any flat-ish places are farming fields. Fields and pastures cover these hills. All of this means that our roads are VERY curvy. Drivers here are good drivers, else there would be hundreds of deaths per month. There are straight stretches, but these are often used as illegal race strips. In the past 20 years, drag racing on the highways has been massively reduced. This, mainly because every county has formal race strips. We can hear the races from our house due to one such track only being a couple of miles away. Saturday night, we hear the rumble and the screaming of the race cars' huge engines. Legally or illegally, Southerners race their cars. Some of it is a hold-over from the moonshining days, but testosterone makes for the better part of the need to race.



Dirt track racing is super popular in the rural areas.

 

As more refugees flood England, criminal behavior will increase. This will come as a shock because England has been an orderly society (hiccoughs, yes) for a good long while now. Even when Germany bombed England, the English continued to behave like proper Englishmen. With the influx of who knows how many people of other "cultures", plus the reproductive rate of those refugees, the civilized behaviors seen today will begin to get swept aside. For instance, there exists a tremendously higher rate of violence seen in North Africa than is seen in England. Those people are moving into the U.K. and continental Europe. Me, I'm thinking they'll not be all about afternoon tea and crumpets. Nowhere in Europe are they assimilating, so ... .

 

That also leads to a breakdown of there democratic process. Schools, colleges and universities are the seat of democratic debate. If one party disagrees with another there is a social process that allows a median point to be reached. Woke cancelling, particularly in universities is undermining that process. This phenomenon has occurred numerous times over history amongst which was the fall of Ancient Greece, most notably however was Chairman Moa's "Little Red Book" fiasco and before that Nazi Germany and the rise of national socialism. Neither of these examples ended well for he their population or country. Both ended in in mass murder, both ended in decline of those countries. China recovered (in a slightly different political form) but, of course, we all know what happened with Nazi Germany.

It is happening throughout the western world right now, Trans extremism (scientifically there is no genetic possibility of 30% of your people have chromosomic aberrations) Muslim extremism, rising urban crime (much of it race related). The power void is there for a non-democratic leadership to rise and destroy western democracy and the rot has started in the schools and colleges.

 

I think it is on the way, the question is when?

 

I'm dumbfounded that the international choo-choo has derailed already. When this happens, it's going to take every Western nation with it.

 

I am a great believer in countries producing and consuming their own goods. I could never see the logic of importing and exporting equal amounts. This is an belief I have had since I was a young kid and had a Triang Hornby transit - back then they were Ade in Margate (they are actually made in China now) and my dad bought. aGerman train made by Fleischmann, on a whim, and tried it out on my trainset. I couldn't understand even at that time, and I would have been about 8 why the British product wasn't good enough for him. That experience had stuck with me, I have British motorcycles and now I have British cars (mostly, I have a Ford, an American brand, partly made in theUK, but also in Germany too, go figure).

It just seemed to make sense to me as a child to buy stuff made here. I still do it as much as possible. I shun Chinese made goods (that is a trust issue I suppose) and am okay with European stuff up to a point.

When oil runs out there will be no more imports, then what shall we do? In the UK we have very little manufacturing left.

WTSHTF there will certainly be no mail ordering from overseas, that's for sure.

Several of us live in agricultural regions. We are blessed with the smarts to get out of areas that will get stomped when things go sideways.

The trick is to keep those urbanites who survive the devastation of the cities off of our turf post-SHTF. This concerns me because my household lies less than 200 miles away from urban sprawl areas. Desperate people and unimaginably mean people will be headed this way.

Another concern of mine is that some of the people who have moved here will go nuts and engage in violence to feed their own families. We have long-distance commuters living in my county and many of these folk come from urban cultures. A fellow who just lives just up the road from me puts out pro-socialist yard signs during voting season. OK, I know that he is trouble; however, he sure isn't alone.

Post-SHTF, a non-sharing behavior-set must be backed up with high velocity lead delivery devices. I so wish that this wasn't true. I'm too old and too lazy to have to deal with sh## people. Now that I've got me a beater-truck (long-bed 4x4), bugging-out to my home state will be so much easier. My sons have friends down there who you don't want to mess with and too, it's our culture down there. I'll be taking barter with me. This county in which we currently live is also my culture, but like I said, there's outsiders living here. Where I grew-up, outsiders will be in deep, deep trouble if they act-up. This will instantly happen. You can't fake an accent down there and you can't fake being one of the locals. You are or you are not local.

Ain't it a shame!

We've all seen people go mean. Not pretty.

Post SHTF, I'm gonna have to better control my temper (which is red-hot). People will make you mad just to lure you out. That's when their cousins beat you dead / shoot you dead.

Plus, if your friends can't control their temper, they can get you hurt. Had this happen when out bar-hopping with a friend who was more of a hot-head than me. One time he was going to turn on me. Pick your friends wisely.

For me ...I am not only concerned with other two legged wildlife...run desperately amok....in hard times...even in good times..

But also concerned with family members who I consider "High Maintenance."

They will be looking for easy street with the proviso that someone else provide for and take the risks out of life for them...and their high maintenance ways ...fast food lane ways. They will become a huge liability...and bring very very little to the table.

To me they will be little different from an Ishmaelite.

That year, in the capital, 30 people 13 and 19 years old were murdered, 27 of them killed with a knife. It’s the same story nationwide. According to ONS figures, in the 12-month period ending March 2022, 69 teenagers were murdered in England and Wales; knives or sharp instruments were used in 74 percent of all murders.

"The case of Ghulam Sadiq is illustrative. Last August, the 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside his family’s home in Leytonstone, east London. He was attacked by 18-year-old Emadh Miah. The following young fellow makes a machete in his or his dad's workshop. His beginning piece of metal was a lawnmower blade. Not only does he make a machete, he makes an elegant / very fine-looking machete. He didn't have to go through all this time and trouble. He didn't need all of these tools. All he needed was a grinding wheel and a robust file to turn a lawnmower blade (or a piece of scrap leaf-spring) into a make do / deadly machete.

Ban files! Ban grinding wheels! Ban lawnmower blades! Ban leaf-springs. Ban flat pieces of metal!

After these things are banned, black-market machetes, short-swords, katanas, ... are going to make some home garage machine-shop entrepreneurs some serious money.






When using angle grinders/cutters and grinding wheels, always wear goggles. Last week, was using one to cut and grind-out a custom piece of steel to repair this old truck I bought. These puppies throw a rooster tail of fire. The sparks are glowing hot steel, OK. You don't want this hitting good clothing and you sure as dickens don't want this in your eyes. Don't have any flammables nearby, either. Cover-up and wear your goggles!

 

Someone would be willing to do it....just make the pay/salary commensurate with the task and or qualifications/requirements and you will get plenty of applicants.. You would need at least a primary and then a backup...and possibly a third as a backup.

And keep the whorish pimping press away from them....and their families....that these people willing to do this type or work and their families not become political cannon fodder..but available to do the job.

Until then things will go downhill ...fast...and eventually increasing in rapidity of falling into the toilet....exponentially.

Same thing here in the USA....and I think the same 'Usual Suspects" are running this same crime/violence program here in the USA as in the UK and the continent....for and towards the same goals....destination.

Death is the easy option, I'd rather they spend life in Prison, no parole, no phones, no internet, no visitors, no TV, no newspapers, no education and full castration to stop them having fun in the showers.

 

What I think would be handy is if that the current laws on the books were enforced. And when enforced, keep the prisoners in prison for at least 85% of their sentence. Use these decommissioned Air Force bases as prisons. Many have already been turned into prisons, but haven't been occupied. The Obama regime started turning bases into prisons to house conservative Americans who wouldn't kow-tow to Big Brother. Use them for actual felons.

I'm sure England also has several decommissioned bases that could be used as prisons for the non-violent. Violent prisoners need to be strictly regimented. Hurt citizens and we'll really hurt you.

 

Few years ago I was talking to a friend of my dad about Cyprus, he'd served at RAF Akrotiri during Desert Storm. Turned out the base housed refugees while they were processed; he'd never met a more ungrateful bunch of moaning people in his life. They expected everything, demanded new bikes/colour TVs/games consoles and many left the houses in a filthy state. Some were sent back, most went to the UK.

 

Unlike the USSA, I believe England could get on top of the violent crime increase now while things haven't yet gone utterly upside-down (as in Amerika).

The giant obstacle for England is getting voters to recognize that matters are getting out of hand and convince them that leftist policies end up with chaos such as seen in Amerikan cities. Gun laws have next to zero impact on criminal gangs as is witnessed in today's Sweden. 98% of all firearms used in felonies are obtained via illegal routes.

In the U.S., more people are beaten to death than are killed with rifles and shotguns put together. This includes "assault" rifles. The death-count for bicycling exceeds 700/year. People all over the planet assault/kill others with whatever is closest to them, water pipes, hammers, bricks, kitchen knives, ... .

If the English voters demand that immigration laws and violent crime laws be enforced such that those who do harm to others are kept off the street, then violent crime there will be massively reduced. You can't give violent teens a slap on the wrist and imagine that they will straighten out their lives. The parents of teens must also be held accountable if they allow the young adults in their care to go feral. Can't have that.
