I am just about completed in forming an opinion that electric motor bike travel by 66 year olds requires the hiring of a professional guide. Would like to eventually see some laws that not having a professional guide and riding an electric motor in wilderness is a trespass.

Some hard-working Californians are paying for the CHP helicopter SAR.

In some areas of the world failure to obey a LEO has some negative consequences.

 

Sounds like the guy is a complete idiot. I hope he gets a bill for the cost of the rescue.

I agree with AKJohn. I saw a news snip the other night about some idiot base jumping in the superstition mtn's and he got hung up on the rock a 1000' up. A chopper came in and a rescuer pulled him to safety. This was the second time this genious has done this in roughly the same place. I'm pretty sure basejumping is illegal about everywhere so I hope they hand him the bill for all the rescue peoples time and the helicopter and everything. I'm betting the tab has to be into 6 figures to save this moron.
